1. Is the class only available online?

No. Occasionally Kate runs live courses in a one-day workshop format. For example, she usually offers a class for Spanish-speakers in Mexico in August or September. If you are interested in attending one of these workshops, please contact us for more details. 

 

2. Can I host a live course?

Yes. There is a 15 person enrollment minimum for live events, plus travel expenses. If you would like to have Kate come teach a live certification course in your area, please email us. 

 

3. Can I take this class in another country?

Yes! The easy online format means that you can take this class anywhere in the world. Course fees include the cost of shipping you a book and access to the digital materials. 

 

4. How long does this course take to complete?

The requirements for this class include watching about 6 hours of video (all in short digestible segments), reading the book, taking the quizes and completing the final project. On average, it takes most people 20-30 hours to work through the material. 

 

5. How long do I have to complete the class once I begin?

This class is built for working professionals! Once you start the class, you will move through the material at your own pace, and there is no firm deadline. However, we strongly encourage you to finish the course within three months. Over time, we have found that professionals who do not finish within that window usually do not ever complete it - which is a waste of time and money! 

 

6. Are there student discounts?

Yes. If you are a fulltime student (not a professional planner), you can take the course for $195. However, this fee does not allow you to use the certification badge on your website and in your marketing materials.  When you finish your studies, and become a professional planner, you can pay the difference between the student fee and regular enrollment fee and get access to these features. 

 

7. Is there a textbook?

The Green Bride Guide: How To Plan An Earth-Friendly Wedding On Any Budget is the textbook used for this course. 

 

8. Can multiple people at one company take the course together?

If you want to have several planners all working under the same brand take the class together, the cost is the base fee plus $200 per additional person. For groups of 5 or more, please email for pricing. 

 

9. Can I pay in installments?

Yes! We can set up payment for you on any schedule. You will begin the course when the final installment is paid in full. Contact us to set this up.
